Skull Tales: Full Sail! is a narrative adventure game played through campaigns made up of chapters or standalone scenarios. Your character evolves throughout the story, exploring dangerous islands, mysterious temples, caves, and Spanish villages in thrilling missions full of challenges. Face enemies that you must defeat using the unique abilities of your character and their allies. Each of the 12 characters included in the base game has different skills —magic, firearms, explosives, sharp swords, or even the Captain’s Daughter’s monkey— making every game a unique and unforgettable adventure. Tortuga Island: the port phase Your character’s progression isn’t as simple as “buying” skills from a list using experience points. You’ll have to earn them on Tortuga Island, a living, breathing place where each location and character has something to offer. During your time on the island —while your ship waits to set sail on the next adventure— you’ll experience events, gain fame and fortune, and meet characters who may become your friends or foes. From them, you’ll learn the skills you wish to master. In the bustling market square, you can purchase new equipment, upgrade your ship, recruit allies, and perhaps enjoy a few drinks with an old friend at the tavern… though that might come with a nasty hangover. Sailing the fantastic Caribbean Once your ship and crew are ready, and depending on the campaign’s storyline, you’ll set sail aboard your vessel (there are different ship types with unique features) to find the location of your next mission. The Caribbean is filled with mythical creatures, dangers, and ships loaded with treasures —or bounty hunters looking to claim the reward for your capture. You’ll need to use your crew’s abilities to overcome the perils of the sea, manage your rum and food supplies, survive boarding attacks, and keep morale high. But beware… if morale drops too low and a crew member gains too much respect, they might start a mutiny and take your place as Captain!
