The stars shine on the red carpet! Once again, the Academy Awards gala is taking place, and as a photographer, your mission is to capture the best portraits of the most famous figures of Hollywood’s golden age. Find the perfect angle and take the photos that will grace the front pages of newspapers tomorrow. Created by Anna Lucini, Pau Moré, and Eloi Pujadas and illustrated by Albert Monteys, Red Carpet is a game for 2 to 4 players in which you play as photographers on the red carpet. By moving your camera along the sides, adjusting angles, and calling celebrities, you will compete to capture the most striking portraits. The player with the most points after 5 rounds will be acclaimed as the best photographer! Players will use their mobile phones, placed on stands around the board, to take the photographs. Based on various criteria — whether the celebrity is facing forward, in the foreground, or if there is advertising in the background — points will be added or subtracted for each portrait. Additionally, you can influence the awards by voting for your favorite nominees; the value of the portraits of the winners will be doubled during the ceremony. On each turn, you will use cards to perform actions: position the tripod, move the characters walking the red carpet, and find the best angle in front of anonymous characters. The key is to capture the most valuable portraits and become the star photographer of the gala.
