Star Realms: Rise of Empire is a standalone prequel to the popular Star Realms series, featuring nearly 240 illustrated cards, a board, and a campaign with 15 sealed packs that are opened progressively. This epic adventure spans 12 scenarios in which players will permanently modify the market deck cards while tracking their wins and losses. It introduces three new factions: the Consortium, the Scavengers, and the Realm. Players will compete to achieve objectives, earn campaign victory points, and uncover the secrets of the worlds around them. Designed by Darwin Kastle and Rob Dougherty, Rise of Empire is a standalone game for 2 to 6 players, recommended for ages 12 and up, with sessions lasting 20 to 60 minutes. The campaign starts as a legacy-style game for 2 players, and once completed, it can be played again as a customized game compatible with all previous Star Realms expansions.
