Your path of vengeance has led you to Sweet Haven, Arizona. You know that the necromancer who ruined your life has taken the cemetery as his base of operations, and you will stop him at any cost. You face Lord Overkill, a supernatural being, but your skill as a player goes beyond sleight of hand. Channel your magic through poker plays to eliminate Lord Overkill’s minions one by one and descend into the very underworld to duel the monster who ruined your life. Designed by Benjamín Amorín and illustrated by David Rubín, one of the most internationally renowned artists from our country, Ace of Spades is a game for solo play or two players in cooperative mode, using poker mechanics to resolve dangerous duels against the worst creatures of the Underworld. Set in a demonic American Wild West, the game offers different difficulty levels and even a set of additional challenges beyond simply winning the game. In Ace of Spades you must defeat 12 enemies of increasing difficulty. You will have a limited number of plays to overcome each enemy, but some, once defeated, will grant you powerful abilities. To succeed in each duel, you will play combinations with a classic French deck (specially illustrated for this game) and make poker plays. For example, a pair will deal one point of damage, while a royal flush will cause 10 damage hits.
