The new game from the creator of Sushi Go! has arrived! In Cities, the City Council has tasked you with the urban planning of an entire neighborhood redevelopment. You’ll have the opportunity to build homes, offices, parks, and leisure areas along the waterfront. It’s up to you to make the city a better place! Designed by Steve Finn and Phil Walker-Harding, and illustrated by Jorge Tabanera, this is a game for 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, with games lasting around 40 minutes. The game takes place over 8 rounds (or 4 in 2-player games). In each round, players place their workers to gain scoring cards, city tiles, attribute tokens, and building pieces. The tiles include park, water, and building spaces, where you must place buildings of the corresponding color to create structures of up to 4 floors. Throughout the game, you will complete objectives through scoring cards and city achievements. You will travel through cities such as Sydney, Venice, New York, Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires, each with its own challenges and layouts. With accessible rules and a colorful and detailed visual design, Cities offers a fast-paced yet strategic experience, ideal for all types of players.
