Carcassonne: Traders & Builders is an expansion for the classic tile-placement game Carcassonne that introduces new tiles, resources, and meeples to expand strategic options during matches.

How to Play

The expansion introduces 24 new tiles and cardboard tokens representing different trade goods: wine, cloth, and grain. Players can acquire these goods by placing followers on tiles depicting their respective icons or by completing cities.

At the end of the game, the player who has collected the most goods of each type earns 10 bonus victory points, adding a compelling new competitive goal throughout the match.

Traders & Builders also includes a builder meeple for each player. Builders are placed in cities or on roads that are still under construction, allowing their owner to take an extra turn whenever they extend that city or road.

Additionally, each player receives a pig meeple, which increases the scoring value of farms when evaluating them at the end of the game.
