Gone are the days of wandering through dungeons and fighting heroes… It’s time to settle down and start a business! In Dungeon Petz, you’ll take control of a family of imps who open a pet breeding and selling business in the city. You must meet the needs of your pets so they grow healthy and strong, while building your reputation through exhibitions and deals with demanding customers. However, magical creatures tend to be unpredictable, and unexpected events might force you to improvise. Created by the acclaimed Vlaada Chvátil (designer of classics such as Codenames, Through the Ages, and Galaxy Trucker), Dungeon Petz features artwork by David Cochard. It supports 2 to 4 players, ages 13 and up, with an average playtime of about 90 minutes. To win the game, players compete to earn the most reputation points, which are gained by raising their pets successfully, making profitable sales, performing well in exhibitions, and even improving the appearance of their shop. Throughout the game, you’ll send groups of imps to perform various tasks around the city: gather food, purchase powerful artifacts, choose new cages and upgrades, recruit more imps to your lair, visit the hospital, reserve a spot on the stage, volunteer as a judge, and of course, buy newborn pets. These pets will help you gain reputation points through exhibitions and transactions. With its original concept and deep strategic gameplay, Dungeon Petz offers a rich experience that will delight strategy lovers. The game includes both a basic mode and an advanced mode, providing options for different levels of challenge. Competition will be fierce to secure the best positions on the board (and perform actions before others take them), while you care for your growing pets and choose the best cards to maximize your points.
