Rome in a day is a game for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, with matches lasting between 15 and 30 minutes. It uses the “I split, you choose” mechanic—easy to explain and captivating for players of all ages.

This game transports you to the turbulent days following the fall of the Roman Empire, when its lands were ready to be claimed by those cunning enough.

Will you lean toward vineyards, or do you prefer quarries? Or perhaps you’d rather strike a balance between both, with olive groves and oil mills in the mix? In this game, the key lies in the art of bartering:

Do you offer a majestic Roman theatre in exchange, or embellish your offer with a precious diamond?

Divide, trade, and conquer! Build a prosperous domain from the fragments of Roman land you acquire.

Each player has a personalized set of buildings, terrain tiles, gems, a selection card, and a reminder tile, as well as a screen to keep their actions secret.

Choose your tactic to claim the most profitable lands. During the game, the classic principle of forming territories from terrain tiles and placing buildings is combined with active player interaction. Participants try to build the most lucrative domains by splitting and exchanging territories with one another.
