Experience the most realistic space travel simulation ever created. Design your own rocket to explore and industrialize the solar system. Harvest water for reaction mass, build extraterrestrial factories, and manufacture products impossible to create on Earth. This fourth edition is the culmination of four decades of design and development.

In the near future, nanofabrication will allow materials to be built atom by atom, possible only in zero gravity and vacuum. Private and government enterprises will compete to establish mechano-synthesis factories on asteroids, using water tanks as propellant and robonauts for the toughest tasks. In-situ resource utilization (ISRU) will be key for strategic advantage.

High Frontier 4 All is a space exploration game. Each turn consists of 1 action (operation) and 1 movement (if you’ve launched a rocket). Using a engine-building system, you combine patent cards to create rockets or solar sails. The physics and map icons simulate the hazards and challenges of space exploration.

Victory points are earned through final map tiles, the scientific value of your colonies, and stock prices. The modules add extra paths to victory: politics, space colonies, starships, and special missions (Futures).

ABOUT MODULE 1 – Terawatts & Futures

Introduces new patent decks: Cargo Ships and GW Propulsors. Cargo Ships transport products from factories to LEO. GW Propulsors are more powerful and efficient versions of MW Propulsors. Also included are Futures, special missions to gain victory points.

ABOUT MODULE 2 – Colonization

Introduces orbital stations (Bernals) and Pioneers (Colonists). Bernals improve your colonies and grant extra VP based on factory hydration. Colonists allow additional operations in various locations.
