Monster Burp Game Contents

Monster Burp (¡Atención! Monstruos Glotones) is a lively, memory and action-based children's game where players explore a messy attic in search of hungry monsters. To navigate the space safely, players must remember where the empty-bellied monsters are hiding and feed them. But watch out: uncover a monster that has already stuffed its face, and a giant burp will send your pawn racing toward the exit!

The game expertly blends memory recall, spatial observation, and a light press-your-luck mechanism. Players push and slide object tiles blocking the attic floor to reveal hidden monsters beneath and track how many times each creature has eaten. The better you remember which monsters are still starving, the longer you can stay exploring the attic.

How Do You Play?

To set up Monster Burp, the attic is assembled directly inside the bottom of the game box using character boards and sliding object tiles. Below these tiles lie various hidden monsters waiting to be discovered as the game progresses.

On your turn, you slide a row of one to four object tiles horizontally or vertically across the grid. Shifting these tiles uncovers a hidden monster underneath. Look closely at the monster's mouth to see if it has already been fed!

If the monster hasn't eaten yet, you're in luck! Take your colored pencil and draw a piece of food inside its mouth. However, if the monster's mouth already contains food, it lets out a monstrous burp! When this happens, you must move your pawn along the track surrounding the attic outward by as many spaces as there is food drawn in that monster's mouth.

Memory is key: players must track which monsters are still hungry and where they are located. Smart choices allow you to target low-risk monsters while steering clear of overfed creatures that trigger big burps.

Pit the watchdog guards the outer track. The first time your pawn reaches Pit, you must hand over your bone token to pass safely. Reaching the dog a second time without a bone means you are spotted and eliminated from the attic. The last player left inside wins the game!

Gameplay Experience

Monster Burp provides a tactile, engaging experience designed specifically for early childhood play. By pairing classic memory mechanics with physical sliding tiles and drawing, kids enjoy interactive, hands-on fun in every round.

Memory becomes increasingly crucial as the attic fills up. While early turns offer plenty of hungry monsters, later rounds turn the board into a minefield of fed creatures. Remembering low-food spots gives observant players a distinct advantage.

The burp mechanism adds a delightful element of silly surprise that kids love. Feeding a hungry monster brings instant satisfaction, while triggering a noisy burp keeps the table laughing and on the edge of their seats.

With quick 15-minute rounds, easy setup, and high replayability, it serves as an ideal stepping stone into structured tabletop gaming for young children and families.
