Night falls over Tokyo. Two massive silhouettes rise from the smoke of the destroyed skyscrapers, but only one will be crowned King of Tokyo, either by defeating their rival or inspiring terror and awe among the crowd. Created by the legendary Richard Garfield (Magic: The Gathering, The Hunger) and illustrated by Quentin Regnes, King of Tokyo Duel is a dice game for two players, ages 8 and up, from the King of Tokyo series. Choose your monster with unique powers and roll new dice to attract fame and destruction tokens to yourself... or crush your rival with new special power cards to become the ultimate King of Tokyo! Whether you’re already familiar with the basic rules of King of Tokyo or never played before, learning this game is easy. On your turn, you roll several dice up to 3 times, keeping the results you want each roll. Depending on the symbols rolled, you will attack, heal, advance on the two board tracks, or activate special monster powers. After rolling, you can recharge energy or buy power cards. To win, defeat the rival monster or advance far enough on the board tracks. Simple, right? The box also includes 6 different monsters with unique powers and varying difficulty levels. Every game is a new challenge!
