Tír na nÓg. DEVIR

The golden path to Tír na nÓg has opened once again, and the greatest Celtic storytellers have gathered for a unique journey to the Otherworld. When they return, they will bring with them tales of the creatures they encountered and the adventures they experienced. Over time, these tales will become sagas… and the most epic of them all will endure forever. Designed by Isaac Shalev and Jason Slingerland, Tír na nÓg can be enjoyed solo or in groups of up to 5 players, ages 10 and up, in sessions of about 45 minutes. Through hand management and worker placement mechanics, players compete to earn the most points by creating a unique saga in their play area with the story cards. A game of Tír na nÓg is played over 5 rounds. In each round, players will select and place 3 cards in their play area, ultimately forming a saga of 15 cards arranged in a grid of three rows and five columns, which will determine the final score. The final position of a card in the personal play area is crucial, as it can generate more or fewer points. During setup, each player receives 3 Geis cards indicating how cards will score, and a central market of cards is set up. On each turn, players place one of their three workers on the intersection between two cards in the central market. Once all workers are placed, players take turns selecting cards and adding them to their personal play area. Cards are divided into four different colors, and at the end of the game, players with the largest regions of each color earn additional points. Cards also have individual values, which score according to objective cards, and may have abilities triggering various effects. Timing in Tír na nÓg is key, as two players may want the same card from the central market… but only one can take it. However, there are multiple scoring methods, allowing for many combinations for the players. Are you ready to write the most epic saga that will endure forever?
