Cudillero is played over 3 days of 6 rounds, each divided into 2 phases. During the game, you build buildings by placing floor cards in red, blue, yellow, and white, aiming to create the combination that scores the most points by the end of the game.
The first phase of each turn is the bidding phase, where turn order and the number of actions each player can take are decided. The second phase is the action phase, during which each player can perform 1 or 2 actions depending on whether they won the bid or can activate special abilities.
The actions are:
Buy: Take a card from the central market into your hand, but do not build it.
Build: Take a card from your hand and place it in your building composition.
Values: Modify the value of cards of a specific color.
At the end of the game, you score points for building height, the largest groups of each color, neighbors, balconies, and chimneys. You must pay attention to everything to win. Remember: winning the bid doesn’t always mean winning the game.
