Carcassonne: Tournaments & Crests is an expansion for Carcassonne in which you’ll take part in the Royal Tournament. Appoint your knights, travelers, and peasants to compete and earn valuable prizes. If you win, a majestic statue bearing your emblem will be erected in your honor. Tournaments & Crests adds 9 new land tiles to the base game and 12 prize tiles, which are earned by winning the different tournaments. It also includes a double-sided tile (to play in the standard version or with “The River”), where active tournaments are marked with a crown pawn. Finally, this expansion introduces 30 crests (5 for each player), used throughout the game to give selected followers a greater chance of winning the tournament. Compatible with the rest of the Carcassonne expansion modules, Tournaments & Crests adds an extra layer of complexity to the game, offering a new way to score points.
