After the Virus, a game by Jacob Fryxelius, the creator of Terraforming Mars, is a cooperativedeck-building game where a growing number of zombies will attack you as you try to complete objectives and survive. The 15 missions included form a story if played in order, but don’t expect it to be easy… the zombies will show no mercy!

The world has been struck by a zombie virus and society has collapsed. Will you be able to survive in these dangerous times and bring some order and safety? Your deck will fill with more and more zombies each time you shuffle it, so you must explore the area in search of useful items to help you. Many items are weapons and traps that you can use to stop the zombie advance. You can also try to rescue Survivors by playing them from your hand, preparing them, and playing a Shelter to move them out of danger. Some cards will be added to your deck, while others will remain in your play area, and there are some that can only be used once per game. You will need to manage your cards very carefully if you want to complete the missions before the zombies catch you.
