One of you will take on the role of the defense attorney, another will act as the prosecutor in charge of the accusation, and the rest will form the jury. Each case presents a single mystery, but with multiple possible resolutions, making every playthrough a completely different trial.

In 1888, in the London district of Whitechapel, from late August to early November, Jack the Ripper murdered five women: Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes, and Mary Jane Kelly. All of them were prostitutes. The bodies were found with their throats cut, faces mutilated, the uterus and abdominal organs removed, as well as the heart and various muscles. In general, each murder was more atrocious than the previous one, except for Stride’s, which suggests that he was interrupted. Scotland Yard narrowed the investigation down to four suspects, but ultimately only one of them was brought to trial months later…
