Paleo: The Terror Birds. DEVIR

The Birds of Terror expansion adds a new 18-card module to the cooperative game Paleo. Designed by Peter Rustemeyer, it supports 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, with an approximate playtime of 60 minutes. In this expansion, the prehistoric tribes explore a new territory where they discover huge and mysterious bird eggs. Your mission will be to find all the eggs before they hatch and cause trouble. Like any other Paleo module, Birds of Terror can be combined with any of the 10 card sets from the base game. Most games use only two modules, allowing you to adjust the difficulty level and create unique experiences, while ensuring high replayability. Each tribe controls its own deck of cards, gradually uncovering them with the common goal of reaching five victory points, represented by a five-piece cave painting. However, if players accumulate 5 skull tokens, they automatically lose. In Paleo, each player controls a prehistoric tribe composed of warriors, gatherers, explorers, or inventors. Tribes must cooperate to explore the surroundings, gather food, and make discoveries, ensuring their survival. The game is played over several rounds, each with two phases: day and night. During the day, players collect resources, craft tools, and face various challenges such as wild animals or hostile tribes. At night, the tribe distributes food and prepares for a new dawn. With a medium difficulty, Birds of Terror expands the possibilities of Paleo and promises a challenge for any group of players. While it is a cooperative game encouraging consensus on strategy, each player has a say as they make decisions with their own deck.
