Paleo: The Hornets. DEVIR

Welcome back to Prehistory, players! In this Paleo expansion module, some giant hornets have built their nests near the camp, and they seem to be in a very bad mood. Within the deck of this expansion are the fearsome hornet cards, which follow the same rules as the other red-backed cards. There are also avoidable danger cards, a mechanic introduced in Paleo’s first major expansion, A New Beginning. The danger can be avoided if certain conditions are met. Luckily, this module also includes the ointment card, which allows storing medicinal roots to heal group members, and burn, which is used to set the nests on fire. This module has a medium difficulty level. If combined with one of the easier decks, you’ll enjoy a more relaxed experience. However, paired with a more challenging module, the game becomes a true test. To enjoy the Hornets expansion module, you must have the base game. Paleo, designed by Peter Rustemeyer, is a cooperative game in which players control a group trying to survive in the Paleolithic. It is played with card sets that determine the dangers you face and the locations you visit. Thanks to its expansions, the possible scenario combinations—and therefore the replayability—are numerous.
