Point City is a fast and fun card-drafting game for the whole family, from the creators of the hit Point Salad. With over a hundred unique building cards, you can create a completely different city every game. It’s based on the same concept of selecting and combining cards to score points, but it adds a new layer of resource management and engine-building. The result is a game that’s easy to learn yet challenging for players of all levels. Designed by Molly Johnson, Robert Melvin, and Shawn Stankewich, this game can be enjoyed solo or with up to four players, ages 10 and up, in sessions lasting between 15 and 30 minutes. In Point City, players collect resources and construct their city using building cards, competing to achieve the highest score. Constructed buildings grant bonuses, points, and permanent resources that make future turns more efficient. Whoever builds the most valuable city wins! During the game, the cards in the central market display both resources and buildings. On their turn, each player decides whether to collect resources or spend them to construct new buildings and expand their city. As the game progresses, built structures will also generate resources, accelerating the growth of your engine. Additionally, civic tokens grant bonus points based on produced resources, adding an extra layer of strategy. Point City also includes a solo mode in which the player faces an automated opponent with three difficulty levels.
