Grab the glasses, because it's time to prepare some cocktails! On the table are the ingredients: seasonings, bases, fruits, and vegetables… Each requires a unique dice combination. Players will roll the dice on their turn and strategically place their pawns to try to score valuable points… or make a piña coladice that grants an instant victory! Designed by Yann Dupont, Piña Coladice is a dice game that puts you in the role of a bartender preparing cocktails. It supports 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up, in sessions of about 15 minutes. Players compete to score more points than the others by rolling dice and placing their pawns strategically on the ingredient coasters. Learning to play is easier than making a cocktail! On their turn, players roll the 5 dice up to three times and then place a cocktail pawn on one of the coasters. To do so, the combination shown on the coaster must match the dice roll. Depending on the coaster color, the requirements differ (green coasters require pairs or two pairs, blue coasters require three-of-a-kind, and red coasters require multiple dice combinations, the hardest to achieve but awarding more points). The game ends when someone reaches 20 points or places their last cocktail pawn on the play area. The session can end earlier if a player achieves a Piña Coladice by aligning 4 pawns on the central coasters, winning instantly. Setup is variable, so the coasters (which have two different sides) are never in the same position. Additionally, the rules include an advanced level, which increases player interaction and adds an extra spicy challenge to your games.
