Carcassonne: Dragons & Fairy is an expansion for the classic tile-placement game Carcassonne, in which a voracious dragon roams the region. Think carefully about where you position yourself to avoid crossing its path, summon a fairy for protection, or use the magic portal to return to a previous area. This expansion includes 26 new tiles that are added to the base game set. They feature magic portals, which allow a follower to be placed anywhere, and dragon symbols, which awaken a fearsome beast that moves across the tiles, scaring away players’ followers. It also introduces the fairy figure, which starts the game off the board. If a player does not place any followers during their turn, they can place the fairy on any territory tile where they already have a follower. The fairy protects that pawn from the dragon’s effects and also grants extra victory points. Everyone likes having fairies nearby! Dragons & Fairy is an expansion that adds depth and increases player interaction in the base Carcassonne set.
