Límite is a competitive civilization-building game where you lead your nation, experiment with social, economic, and environmental decisions, and face crises that could shift the balance of global power. A different strategy game Political decisions with direct consequences: Every choice affects the growth, production, consumption, and stability of your nation and the planet. A unique way to play: Limited resources and a focus on national strength over global domination. An individual and collective challenge: Compete, form alliances, and adapt to global changes. The game unfolds over a maximum of 7 generations. Each generation, or round, is divided into 3 phases: Political phase: You make decisions. Social phase: Your population reacts to those decisions. International phase: Crises occur and alliances are formed. Can you safeguard your nation while dealing with planetary limits? Set between 1850 and 2060, Límite places you at the head of a fictional nation, where each decision affects not only your population and production but also global balance. Ecological, financial, and military crises will arise, and it is up to you to prioritize sustainability, adaptation, or global dominance. All nations start with identical initial conditions. You won’t play with real nations, but your decisions may reflect similarities with real-world countries. The game lasts up to 7 rounds, called generations, though it can end earlier if at least 4 global crises are triggered. The nation with the highest score wins.
